Raw French Fries


These yummy little morsels are a great addition to any meal. We enjoy eating raw foods for the extra enzymes. These fries will be enjoyed by the most picky eater - try these at your next event!

1 Large Jicama or 3 Kohlrabi (peeled and cut into fry shapes)
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon plus 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
Large Zip Lock Bag

Place the Jicama or Kohlrabi fries, Oil, 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt and 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric in bag and gently shake. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours, periodically shaking the bag so all pieces are coated thoroughly.

Drain the oil and gently pat dry with paper towel. Arrange in a basket lined with parchment paper and garnish with salt if desired. Serve with plain or with ketchup
